Harley and the Art of Kitty Yoga

One of Harley’s most entertaining tricks is what we’ve named kitty yoga. He begins by chasing his tail, then falls on his back and digs his rear toenails into the carpet to steady himself. At this point his hind legs are on either side of his head. Then he tucks his tail up between his hind legs and tries to grab it with his front feet. All the time he’s writhing around on the ground – still with his rear toenails dug into the carpet – which makes his tail harder to catch. If he manages to grab it, he chews on the end for a minute, then lets it go and tries to catch it again.

Harley and I would like to thank the Yoga Journal. Their site inspired me to create some “yoga” names for Harley’s maneuvers. You should check them out sometime and see if they can inspire you.

Are you as flexible as Harley? Let me know how you stay bendy.

These are spectacular poses. Some of them I can do, some I’m not quite there. You’re best post yet!
